... and yes, I am STILL sore about my rejected US visa... I worry like hell that they'll send me back if I don't pass the JFK airport immigration screening process...

US govt is trying its best to make entering the US difficult for foreign students...no, i don't think foreign students get any money from the govt itself. More from universities. But maybe they have "incentives" for very smart researchers, who knows.

hmm... got a qn for people abroad... are u all getting any subsidies of any sort from the foreign govt... like the way sg has tuition grant subsidies for foreign students?

I have a sore throat so I'm going to sleep early though it's quite late. Just watched an odd French movie about a guy who does illegal stuff in real estate and plays the piano as a passion and has weird relationships with people. The Beat That My Heart Skipped, I think it was called.
